One hand designs, the same hand builds. We are architects who keep our own construction crew on site.
Kohan Group is a design-build studio. Sixteen years ago we grew tired of seeing good drawings fade on other people’s sites — so we brought construction in-house. Today, the people who design your staircase are the same ones who build it.
The result is rare in this industry: a single accountability from first visit to final handover, and buildings that look exactly like their drawings.
Drawings are a promise. Construction is how you keep it.

A studio built on a simple belief: design and construction belong together.
Kohan Group is an architecture and engineering practice based in Doha, Qatar. We were founded on the conviction that the distance between the drawing board and the building site is where most projects lose their way — so we closed it.
From a single office in West Bay we now deliver villas, residential and commercial buildings, steel structures and landscapes across the region, all under one roof and one responsibility.

05 — Process
From first step to final key
Consultation & brief
Site visit, listening to your needs and defining budget, area and project goal on paper.
2–4 weeksConcept design
Studying volume, light and material; two or three directions with models and sketches, choosing one together.
4–8 weeksTechnical development
Resolving structure, steel, facade and services into an executable package our team commits to.
8–14 weeksConstruction
Our own crews on site, weekly reports and fixed milestones; the architect stays on the job to the last detail.
6–18 monthsHandover & support
Defects fix, drawing handover and a year of visits; a building is only finished when it has aged well.
